Two hundred empty boxes of videotapes are arranged on a shelf of fortylinear meters. Each cover combines themost heterogeneous names of actors, artists, writers, musicians, philosophers, but also friends. The title is borrowed from a novel by Witold Gombrowicz, that the writer presents as « an attempt to organize chaos. » In the same way that each empty box evokes an imaginary cinematic adaptation of Gombrowicz’s novel, the Cosmos wholeness is an adaptation of the novel in the form of a sculpture.
