CONATUS : BANDE-ANNONCE

This mobile announces, as a teaser might, the upcoming Conatus series. The term “series” is to be understood here as much in the sense of “a group of works that have a unity and form a coherent whole” as in that of a television series that will unfold and develop over several years, with the works as characters. The presentation of Conatus: bande-annonce as part of the Notre Histoire exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo is also the first occasion on which the title of a work of art has materialized.
The cartel of the work is redoubled in the form of a work, a practice that will later develop and become more complex (see, for example, the text B is for Balls, by Émilie Renard or the works Conatus : JOIE, Conatus : YES or the works/cartels in the exhibition 12XU).
